Day by day description
Day 1: Arrive transfer to Arusha
Upon arrival to Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met and welcomes by our Gusa driver guide and transfer to your hotel in Arusha. If the weather is permitting, you will be able to spot Mt. Kilimanjaro on the way. You will see local along the road going about their daily activities and operating small store. You will get to the hotel in good time to check in and rest before dinner

Day 2: Tarangire National Park
After early breakfast, embark a journey to Tarangire National Park with packed lunch. The park has a worldwide reputation for surprising large herds of elephants and medieval baobab trees. It draws its name from Tarangire River, a source of water in the park that spans approximately 2,850 square kilometers. Among many, the park is home to numerous animals, birds and plant species.
As you drive along Tarangire River, you might come across herbivores like zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, waterbucks, giraffes, dik-diks, impalas, elands, grant’s gazelles, monkeys, banded mongooses, olive baboons and carnivores like lions, leopards, cheetahs, caracals, honey badgers and many more. African wild dogs can be also rarely spotted in Tarangire. You will have lunch in one of the designated picnic sites in the park before you proceed with game drive in other areas of the park. Later in the afternoon, you will depart the park and drive to your accommodation in Makuyuni.

Day 3: Lake Manyara National Park
Today after breakfast you will drive to Lake Manyara National Park, one of the small but beautiful parks known for its tree climbing lions. The park’s ecology includes appealing woodland, grassland, and swamps. Lake Manyara covers the largest part of the park and mostly covered by pink hued flamingos and other water birds in search of food making it a perfect location for photographers. Though small, the park is noted for its good number of wildlife and more than 350 other bird species like flamingos, hornbills, and many other.
You will have lunch in park’s picnic sites by the hot spring then continue touring this park marked off by ever green vegetation that is a result of underground water springs. The tall trees of the groundwater forest are homes to troops of baboons and blue monkeys that will leave you with a feeling of calmness and tranquil.
In late afternoon when you’re done with game viewing, you will drive to the lodge. How you spend the evening is entirely up to you, whether it is in your room or by the bar having a drink as you wait for dinner.

Day 4: Game enroute to Serengeti National Park
After breakfast you will head to Serengeti national Park via Ngorongoro conservation Area with game enroute. You will witness spectacular view of Ngorongoro highlands as you drive towards the endless plains. Driving through Ngorongoro Conservation Area you might come across buffalos, warthogs, and primates. When you get to the entrance gate, while waiting for your guide to complete the gate formalities, you can climb up a giant kopje to get a better view of the vast savanna that extends to the horizon. These large rocks serve as habitat for various species of flora and wildlife like the rock hyrax and mongoose that are unique to these strange-looking stone formations.
You will drive straight to the camp for check-in, have lunch and rest a bit.
At around 15:00 you will head out again for an afternoon game drive. After and exciting day you will return back to the camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Full day Serengeti National Park
Today after breakfast is another day for a great adventure in Serengeti National Park, home to all five of the Big Five. You may decide to go for optional Balloon ride in the midst the endless plain which end with champagne breakfast in the midst of the bush.
Serengeti has something special to offer always, whether it’s witnessing a rhino amble through the bush, spying on a wild dog, or gasping as you watch a huge cat hunt its meal. Depending on the time of the year and location, you will also get an opportunity to see the great migration, more than 30000 wildebeest, zebras and antelopes moving from one place to another in search of good pasture and water. You will go back to the camp for lunch then head out again for an afternoon game drive at around 15:00. You will enjoy the sunset as you drive back to the camp during the evening for dinner and overnight

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater tour
After breakfast you will depart Serengeti and drive towards to Ngorongoro Crater, journey that take approximately 3 hours. When you get there, you will descend in for a wonderful game drive with a picnic lunch which will be taken in one of the designated picnic areas. The crater is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the crater is in fact a caldera, formed two to three million years ago due to volcanic activities. The crater is home to unprecedented number of wildlife as it is self-sustaining due to annual rainfall hence animals do not need to migrate in search of food. With a bit of luck, a lot of wildlife can be spotted during one game drive only.
After this exciting game drive, you will ascend the crater and drive to Arusha or airport as per ending agreement.
