Though small, the Park is noted for its good number of buffalos, elephants, giraffes, impalas, hippos and many species of smaller animals.
You will have lunch in park’s picnic sites by the hot spring then continue touring this park marked off by lush green vegetation. The tall trees of the groundwater forest are homes to troops of baboons and blue monkeys that will leave you with a feeling of calmness and tranquil.

After lunch, accompanied by your local guide, you’ll explore the lake by foot. It’s very shallow for quite some time though, so it’s up to you to see how far you want to go to get close to the flamingos. Day 6: Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, go out for a full game drive with packed lunch in the wilderness tracking the animal’s trails. A million of wildebeest each year, driven by the same ancient rhythm, fulfilling its instinctive role in their cycle of life: a three-week of mating; survival of the fittest as they cross through crocodile-infested waters on the annual exodus north; replenishing the species in a brief population explosion that produces more than 8,000 calves daily before the migration begins again.
There will be a full description of this wonderful global event for which Tanzania is proud. The Serengeti, Tanzania’s oldest and most well-known national park, is famous for its annual migration, when more than six million hooves pound the open plains, zebra and Thomson’s gazelles join the wildebeest’s journey for new grazing. The Serengeti is also a world heritage site and was recently proclaimed a 7th world wonder. After game drive return back to your camp for dinner and overnight.
Accommodation: Shuhudia Adventure Camp
Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast you will depart the lodge at 07:00am and head out with picnic lunch to Ngorongoro Crater, a multiple land use where animals and people have managed to co-exist together in harmony. You will get there by midday then descend down this self-sustaining 600-meter-high caldera. Ngorongoro Crater, which is only 10 miles across, was created as a result of volcano activities. You will have lunch in one of the designated areas before you start an afternoon game drive on the self-sustaining ecosystem where you will come across a variety of wildlife species and if lucky you will be able to see the rare black rhino. High predator population can also be found in this self-sustaining ecosystem. You will drive to Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner, which is one of the main features of the crater where large number of flamingos, hippos and other water birds are found. You will have lunch at a picnic site and proceed searching for game viewing opportunities.
